Coin Identification
Coin identification. Surely in your collection of world coins, ancient coins or any type of collection you have some coins that you cannot identify because they are deteriorated or because they include strange symbols or letters. The first step to know if a coin has value is to recognise and classify it. Upload a couple of pictures and a brief description including as much information as possible and get help from other numismatists and hobbyists.

Other resources for identifying and recognising coins
Before uploading your coin to try to be recognised, it is highly recommended that you take a look at the resources we offer. Look at one of the two sides of the coin, it is very likely that it has a coat of arms of the country to which it belongs. Also, if it is written in symbols other than our alphabet, you can guess the equivalent in our culture.

Lo que ves debajo del oso y a su derecha son las iniciales BT, que corresponden al nombre del grabador Brent Townsend. Alguien debio desmontar las 2 partes de la moneda y tu tienes la parte central.

Tengo estas dos monedas de Australia KM# 65 con el canto liso y en todos los sitios que vusco me dice que son canto estriado, en el catalogo 2019 Standard Catalog Of World Coins - 1901-2000 - Krause 46Th Edition 2018 habla de un error de cospel, en cuanto pueden estar valoradas esta monedas.
