Coin Identification
Coin identification. Surely in your collection of world coins, ancient coins or any type of collection you have some coins that you cannot identify because they are deteriorated or because they include strange symbols or letters. The first step to know if a coin has value is to recognise and classify it. Upload a couple of pictures and a brief description including as much information as possible and get help from other numismatists and hobbyists.

Other resources for identifying and recognising coins
Before uploading your coin to try to be recognised, it is highly recommended that you take a look at the resources we offer. Look at one of the two sides of the coin, it is very likely that it has a coat of arms of the country to which it belongs. Also, if it is written in symbols other than our alphabet, you can guess the equivalent in our culture.

+ Reliable- 1.- Useful 0 Not useful 0 mardones: Dudaría que fuera una falsificación ya que se hicieron más de 100 millones de monedas y lo veo absurdo a no ser que en aquella época tuviese mucho valor que no lo creo.
- 2.- Useful 0 Not useful 0 ALBERTO ERNESTO GOMEZ: Tienes razón, no hubiese sido muy práctico su falsificación. Entences ¿es un error de acuñación? Es excatamente al KM#69, excepto por el color.
- 3.- Useful 0 Not useful 0 Misnumos: Yo apostaría a que la modificación en el color se debe a haber sufrido alguna alteración por estar expuesta a algún agente químico o alguna sustancia. Que se hubiese colado un solo cospel de otro material y con las medidas exactas lo veo complicado, y si hubiese habído un error en la aleacion de materiales habría muchas mas monedas y estaría catalogado.
