Coin Identification
Coin identification. Surely in your collection of world coins, ancient coins or any type of collection you have some coins that you cannot identify because they are deteriorated or because they include strange symbols or letters. The first step to know if a coin has value is to recognise and classify it. Upload a couple of pictures and a brief description including as much information as possible and get help from other numismatists and hobbyists.

Other resources for identifying and recognising coins
Before uploading your coin to try to be recognised, it is highly recommended that you take a look at the resources we offer. Look at one of the two sides of the coin, it is very likely that it has a coat of arms of the country to which it belongs. Also, if it is written in symbols other than our alphabet, you can guess the equivalent in our culture.

Casi todas las que has puesto son sencillas de identificar buscando un poco por la red. Al fin y al cabo, el pasar tiempo identificando cada moneda que no se conoce, e algo entretenido, y cuando uno llega a un callejón sin salida se pide ayuda y no hay problema ninguno.

+ Reliable- 1.- Useful 0 Not useful 0 Doramas: La moneda original son VIII maravedís de Felipe III ó IV. Tiene 2 resellos: a VIII maravedís de 1641-2 y a 8 maravedís de 1652. La pésima ejecución tanto de la moneda como de los resellos me hace pensar que es todo falso de época.
