The Thomas Jefferson Presidential Dollar is a commemorative coin issued by the United States Mint in 2007 as part of the $1 Presidential Coin Program. This series pays tribute to former U.S. presidents, and Jefferson, as the third president (1801-1809), ranks third in the issuance sequence.
Thomas Jefferson 1 dollar coin Design
- Obverse: features a portrait of Thomas Jefferson facing slightly to the right, designed by Joseph Menna. His name and the legend "3rd PRESIDENT 1801-1809" are inscribed around the image.
- Reverse: depicts the Statue of Liberty with the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and the face value "$1", the work of engraver Don Everhart.
- Sedge: Unlike many traditional coins, the edge bears engraved inscriptions, including the year of issue, mintmark, and the phrases "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "IN GOD WE TRUST".

- 2007-D: Produced in Denver with 102.810.000 issues.
- 2007-S Proof: High-quality versions minted in San Francisco, with a mintage of 3,877,573 coins.
